Design an exciting new piece of playground equipment suitable for people of all generations and abilities!
What is this challenge?
Your grandparents may have taken you on many trips to playgrounds and parks as a child – but did they ever climb aboard a slide or roundabout with you? Probably not! But this kind of play and activity could make a real difference to the health and wellbeing of older people. So your task is to design a piece of playground equipment that grandparents and grandchildren could enjoy together!

What happens at the end?
Once you submit all your work, you will receive a Certificate of Achievement, and will have the opportunity for your work to be shared in an online gallery. A young person aged 16-18 who submits an outstanding piece of work will be given the opportunity of a mentoring session with a leading Scottish architect.
